Spiritual Authority

My next book is about Authority in the Kingdom of God (not sure what the title will be yet). I have just completed a draft of the second chapter. Authority is the Essence of the Kingdom. Authority defines kings and kingdoms. The boundary of a kingdom is defined by the scope of the King’s authority. Throughout history men have claimed the right to be king of a kingdom, but if their authority is not recognised, they are fooling themselves. A king without authority is not a king, but a pretender.

Jesus is establishing a kingdom in which authority is exercised in a totally different way from any other kingdom that has ever existed.
